OSHKOSH, Wis. — The Lawrence University men’s tennis team picked up its first win of the season with a 7-2 nonconference victory over Edgewood College on Saturday at the YMCA Tennis Center.
Lawrence (1-2) started the day by sweeping the three doubles matches. Jeremy Andereck and Brian DeCorte won 8-6 at No. 1 and David Jumes and Sam Wiener won 8-1 at No. 2. The Vikings won by default at No. 3 doubles.
Lawrence then picked up wins at Nos. 3 through 6 singles as Jumes, Kasprzyk, Wiener and Adam Busch were all victorious.
