AURORA, Ill. — The Aurora University men’s soccer team scored early and went on to a 3-0 nonconference victory over Lawrence University on Sunday.
The Spartans scored in the seventh minute on Jason O’Brien’s goal, which came off a corner kick. Aurora (2-0-0) added goals in the 59th and 79th minutes to seal the victory.
Joe Krivit made four saves for Lawrence (0-2-0), and Chris Donner made two saves for the Spartans. The shots were even at 9-9 in the match.
