MONMOUTH, Ill. — Ryan Berkley’s goal in the 80th minute gave the Lawrence University women’s soccer team a 1-0 Midwest Conference victory over Monmouth College on Saturday.
Berkley, a freshman forward, scored at the 79:34 mark to break the scoreless tie. It was Berkley’s third goal of the season.
Goalkeeper Dani Glass made six saves to pick up the shutout for Lawrence (4-6-2, 2-1-2 MWC). Nicole Neagle stopped three shots for the Scots (3-10-2, 2-4-0).
