PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The UW-Platteville women’s soccer team picked up an early goal and went on to a 2-0 nonconference win over Lawrence University on Sunday at Pioneer Stadium.
Yamalix Jaramillo scored in the 12th minute for Platteville (7-6-0), and Bianca Mahoney added a second goal in the 61st minute for the Pioneers.
Two Platteville goalkeepers combined to make three saves for the shutout. Dani Glass stopped 14 shots for the Vikings (4-7-2).
