SUPERIOR, Wis. — A goal in the 66th minute was the only scoring as the UW-Superior men’s soccer team downed Lawrence University 1-0 in a nonconference game on Sunday.
John Bucklew chipped a ball over the head of Lawrence goalkeeper Joe Krivit at the 65:21 mark for the game-winning goal.
Superior (8-2-0) had a 23-18 edge in shots over the Vikings (1-6-1). Krivit made seven saves for Lawrence, and Ben Wilhelm stopped four shots for the Yellowjackets.
