BELOIT, Wis. — A goal 10 minutes into the second half Saturday was the only scoring as the Beloit College men’s soccer team edged Lawrence University 1-0 in a Midwest Conference game at the Strong Stadium Complex.
Beloit’s Martin Garrett-Curie scored at the 55:52 mark the game’s only goal.
Jere Bauer made 10 saves to earn the shutout for Beloit (7-8-1, 2-6-1 MWC). Joe Krivit stopped five shots for the Vikings (6-10-1, 2-6-1).
Lawrence had a 16-11 edge in shots for the game.
