Hi Guys!
Today was a nice day. Well, actually, some people would disagree. It was a rainy day, and to be honest with you I actually like some gloomy, cloudy, rainy days. I took some time just to relax outside on the steps of my dorm-Ormsby. Remember April showers bring May flowers. The weather is only going to get better from now on.
Yesterday I went to a bluegrass event on campus. It was super fun. I must say that I have never had an ear for bluegrass music until my friend Britney took me to see a few bands on college avenue and now we have bands performing on campus! The EVERGREEN GRASS band was amazing, it was great to sit out with friends and watch them performing before heading to work.
That evening my friend Romelle performed with his group MOKUMBO. It was great going out to support them and listening to their music for the first time. I went with a couple of my friends and after the performance we all went to hang out. There were so many people who came out to support them. Who knows, maybe they are the next big thing to come out of LAWRENCE UNIVERSITY! They have a new song coming out and I cant wait to hear it!
