FOND DU LAC, Wis. — Erich Lohrmann scored both goals for the Lawrence University men’s soccer team on Sunday, and the Vikings beat Marian University 2-1 in a nonconference match.
Kevin Aslett made four saves in goal for the Vikings (1-1-0) to earn his first collegiate victory.
Lohrmann got the scoring started just over eight minutes into the match when he stuffed in a rebound to put the Vikings up 1-0.
Marian (0-2-0) tied it with just under 21 minutes remaining in the match, but the Vikings answered back five minutes later. Lohrmann took a pass from Darry Isreal and scored with 15:47 left to give Lawrence the win.
