APPLETON, Wis. — Terence Lau scored in the 73rd minute Saturday, and the Knox College men’s soccer team held on for a 2-1 Midwest Conference victory over Lawrence University at Whiting Field West.
Lau scored the unassisted goal at the 72:54 mark to break the 1-1 tie as Knox improved to 6-3-0.
Lawrence (2-4-0, 0-1-0 MWC) got on the board just 5:12 into the match when Taylor Reifert scored on a header off a pass from Max Loebl.
Knox tied it at the 16:21 mark when James Barrington took a pass from Andy Van Buskirk and scored.
Justin Dunn made three saves to pick up the win for Knox. Joe Krivit made four saves for the Vikings.
