- Stop 1: University of Wisconsin Press: Get an inside look at how books are published, marketed, and sold. Discover the behind-the-scenes processes that bring impactful stories to life, meet with publishing pros, and learn about careers in publishing.
- Stop 2: Wisconsin Public Radio (WERN): Step into the world of radio programming and cultural arts. Tour the studios, meet radio professionals, discover how WPR selects and programs its music, and learn about the vibrant careers available in journalism and broadcasting.
We’ll also meet with the Program Manager at UW-Madison’s graduate school of Journalism and Mass Communication. This is your chance to connect with industry professionals, gain unique insights into creative careers, and experience Madison’s thriving cultural scene.

- 9:30 a.m. | Arrive at the University of Wisconsin Press
- 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. | Lunch at UW-Madison
- 1:30 p.m. | Arrive at Wisconsin Public Radio
- 3:30 p.m. | Depart Madison
- 5:30 p.m. | Arrive back at Lawrence
