Spiritual Practices and Self Care

Take care of yourself

Yoga could do it, but if yoga isn’t your thing, maybe meditation is.  Alone or in a guided group, its a connective and centering time just for you.

Not a meditator?  Gotta set a voice to your brain baggage?  Check in with a staff counselor, friend, or a trusted adviser to let some clarity in.

Not vocal, but kinesthetic instead? Ditch the sofa and feel the warm sand volleyball court on your feet, the pavement under your wheels, and the sun on your skin.

Find a jam session, start a jam session, cook, dance, recite, walk, pray, close your eyes and listen while you drum, air guitar, air bow, strike a favorite chord, play a theater game, sing, play cards, do a handstand push-up, break out a board game, take up space.

Take a moment to simplify and breathe.
