Join us for an unforgettable day filled with festivities, including bouncy castles, water balloons, and tons of exciting games. Housing Exemption Request Deadline

Standard Requests for Housing Exemption based on Qualifying Criteria:

Effective with the 2025-2026 academic year, students requesting an exemption based on qualifying criteria (married, have a dependent, housed 12 terms on campus, graduated H.S. more than 4 yrs. ago) will have a request deadline of the last day of finals prior to the term that they would like to be exempt. This applies to both housing and meal plans. Requests made during the summer and mid-term requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Please remember that the process for Housing Accommodation is varied from the process of Housing Exemption. Students should plan accordingly.

Additional details can be found via the LU website.

Volunteers needed for Late Night Breakfast

It’s that time again! We will host our Late-Night Breakfast for students on Sunday, June 8, from 9-11 p.m. in Andrew Commons, and we need your help to make this tradition another success!

Last term, we served over 400 students! This event offers students a relaxing break with good food and a welcoming atmosphere as they gear up for finals and the end of the school year. We’re looking for volunteers from across campus for the entire event to help serve food, engage with students, and assist with cleanup.

If you’re available and would like to volunteer, please add your name to an open slot here . Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Thank you to staff and faculty from across campus for considering this opportunity to show our students some extra support as they finish the semester strong. We hope to see you there!

Student Parking – Summer & Fall

If your vehicle is registered with Lawrence for the current academic year, you may park your registered vehicle in any student-designated lot during D-Term, Winter Break, Spring Break, and Summer until the residence halls open for the next term. Student parking during this time is first come, first served but is limited to the student lots.

After hours, students may still park in the employee parking. Vehicles must still be registered, so don’t wait!

Vehicle registration for each academic year begins on July 1. You will be assigned a registration number, and your registration sticker will be delivered to your SPC by the first day of class.

The parking lottery will run on the first Monday in August, August 4, 2025, so you must register your vehicle and sign up for the lottery by that date.

For more information, check out the Student Parking page on our website and the extended details viewable with your LU login.
