Reminder – Parking Lottery Sign Up

Don’t forget to sign up for the parking lottery for Spring Term’s 24-hour student parking!

To enter, visit Voyager, go to the Student Services menu, and click “Vehicle Registration, Bicycle Registration & Parking Lottery.”

  • Students must be registered for the lottery by 10 p.m. on Sunday, March 3.
  • The lottery drawing will be on Monday, March 4. 
  • Winners as well as non-winners will be notified via email by Friday, March 8.

Below are a few details to help you have a successful entry:

  • You must enter the Parking Lottery every term that you hope to win a space.
  • Your vehicle must be registered on Voyager in order to participate. If your car is already registered, don’t register it again. Just elect for the lottery sign up.
  • If you have won a lottery spot, your Term 3 sticker will be provided by the first day of Winter term. Check your SPC.
  • Stickers are limited. Lost or damaged stickers may not be replaced. This applies to both registration stickers and lottery stickers.
  • Note: You are looking for the indicator that says ‘Participate in Lottery’ in the gray box.

Spring Break Rides: Departing and Returning

If you need a ride to or from the local airports over Spring Break, look no further.

Students can prepare for a smooth transition away from or returning to campus during the Spring Break transitions. You can sign up for a free shuttle to the Green Bay or Appleton Airports, and we’ll be there to assist. Times are pre-designated to accommodate as many students as we can.

LUgge +Recess + Beta – Dodgeball Tourney

Saturday, Feb. 24 | 2-4 p.m.

Get into the snowball fight spirit with this dodgeball tournament being hosted by LU recess, Beta Theta Pi, and LUgge. Teams of 5v5 can enter, or you can join as an individual and be matched with a team.

With free tee shirts, free food, and free fun, you can unleash your inner dodgeball spirit and come away energized and ready to push through the rest of the term. Leave your antagonism on the court (and not on your roommate, please).

Womens Basketball MWC Tourney -Take the Fan Bus!

The Fan Bus for the Midwest Conference Tournament game against Ripon will begin boarding at 3:45 p.m. at the Wriston Turnaround on Friday, Feb. 23.

The bus will take students, staff, and faculty to and from the game so that Lawrentians can safely and easily support the Women’s Basketball team toward another victory.

Lawrence University Book Club Presents Sumana Roy

Join us for a discussion and Q&A with Sumana Roy about her 2017 book How I Became a Tree, which was shortlisted for the Shakiti Bhatt Prize.

This fiction work utilizes first-person narrative to mix memoir, literary history, nature studies, spiritual philosophies, and botanical research to prompt readers to think of their intrinsic connection with the natural world.

Reading the book is not required!

CCE Winter Olympics

Feb. 12-17

The CCE Winter Service Olympics is a new winter event aimed at helping Lawrence students participate in volunteer-related and community engagement activities while competing in friendly, purpose-driven events throughout the week. Students can compete as individuals or in teams (up to 10 students per team) to earn points through participation in daily activities and events. The three winning individuals or teams will be crowned as CCE Olympic champions.

Student Designed T-Shirt Winner -Available in Kates Corner Store


During the Fall term, we asked the Lawrence students to submit original t-shirt designs as part of a campus wide project. The submissions were reviewed, and a winner was selected.

Izzy Puello, Studio Art and Museum Focus major, provided the winning design. Their drawing was paired with the athletics logo, and a TruBlu graphic addition on the front for a unique shirt that highlights the many faces of Lawrence.
