Fourth Friday Soup and Salad

In our moments of despair we feel abandoned, alone, and hopeless. Yet, looking back, these desert times can also be the most powerful impetus for growth and change. Bring a story about resurrection in your life to share.

Employees of Lawrence are welcome to join in the discussion and enjoy a light lunch as provided by the Office of Spiritual and religious Life. Or, bring your own lunch and connect with your fellow faculty and staff.

Atheist Dialogue – April 7th

The Center for Spiritual and Religious Life is a welcoming space for those of many faiths and beliefs around spirituality and religion. It is the campus space where all perspectives of spiritual thought can be considered and explored.

This weekend we will be welcoming conversation and reflection for those who identify as atheist, agnostic, non-believers, secular humanists, or questioning.

Open to Lawrence students, faculty, staff and alumni, the discussion will be led by senior Lawrentian and Interfaith Activator Emily Midyette.

The Fruits of Being Centered

Wednesday, April 10th 4:30-6pm
Open House @ Center for Spiritual & Religious Life

Spring is a natural time of renewal where things begin to emerge from places that have been fallow. Where growth is encouraged, there is also a need for tending to that growth.

Join us at the Center for Spiritual and Religious Life to assemble your personal centering kit. Through objects or actions you can begin to select a path to reconnect with your center, the place from which you draw empathy, courage, strength, and love that then becomes joy in the world.

Please join us and share your anticipation at Lawrence or in your larger life.

We invite Lawrence friends and faculty to come share their stories at this months Friday Lunch. Soup & Salad will be provided.
