Griff’s Grill Winter Edition
We are breaking out the winter gear in preparation for the winter edition of Griff’s Grill. We are featuring Jacobs’ hot dogs and brats, a special “winter” brat and of course veggie options. Join us Wednesday, November 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for lunch (seating is available inside).

LAL Compliance Training – January 2018
Reminder, the annual Learning at Lawrence Compliance half-day training sessions will be held on January 9, 10 and 11 in the Warch Campus Center.
Please reserve your spot for the 2018 Annual Compliance Training by December 22, 2017. Your attendance to ONE of the sessions below is required.

Benefit Open Enrollment – Due 11/20
The deadline to submit any benefit open enrollment add, drop or changes are due to HR by Monday, November 20, 2017 at 4:00 pm.
If you do not want to make changes to your current benefit elections, you do not need to submit open enrollment forms, with the exception of flexible spending. The flexible spending enrollment form must be completed if you want to participate in health and/or dependent care flexible spending in the 2018 plan year/calendar year.
All Open Enrollment materials, including the meeting presentation, can be found on the HR website.

How to submit a nomination:
Complete the Nomination Form describing how the nominee demonstrates the above listed criteria, not to exceed three typed pages, by December 1, 2017. When completed with the nomination form, you will need to select “file”, “save as” and save to desktop or personal folder. The form can be submitted via one of the following methods:

To begin you must first have a photo saved somewhere on your computer (personal network space/desktop).
For Windows or Apple device users:
- From Webmail, https://lumail.lawrence.edu/
- At the login prompt login with your Lawrence username and password
- From the top right corner, click the Gear icon.
- Click Options from the drop down list
- From the left edge, click General-My Account
- Click on the round image icon
- Click on Upload photo
- Navigate to the location of where your photo is store, select it and click Open/Choose.
- Click Save (top right-hand corner)

PHA Follow-up
If you participated in the PHA process this fall, I hope you’ve had a chance to review your personalized PHA report at www.thedacarepha.net. If you have any questions or concerns about the results, please contact our onsite ThedaCare RN Laurie Ehlers at laurie.ehlers@lawrence.edu to schedule a time to review your report.
Please note Laurie will be reaching out to individuals with elevated biometric results. Laurie will ensure participants are aware of the elevated biometric findings and direct the participants to resources to address their concerns. Laurie is a ThedaCare employee, not a Lawrence employee. Anything discussed with her is completely confidential, as it would be with any healthcare provider.
