Transamerica Consolidation Meeting Appointments Available

Lawrence University is happy to welcome Transamerica’s Consolidation Team onsite to assist any staff or faculty with rollovers and consolidations only from TIAA or another retirement plan at this time.  Transamerica is happy to assist you with other plan questions you may have, however, these representatives are only able to assist in rollovers and consolidations.

Transamerica Representatives will be onsite during the following time periods:

Staff Connections Announces Monthly Photo Contest

There is so much excitement and attractiveness in our campus community! Snap your candid shot of the beauty you find during your daily work day or on campus and email it to staff_connection@lawrence.edu by the 30th of each month.  The winner will be featured in our new publication, Staff Monthly, which will be posted once a month in the LU Insider.

Friday Lunch Live

Bring your own lunch or snack on something from the SRL kitchen such as PB&J or Grilled Cheese, and have a casual lunch with your peers. It’s a ‘make your own experience’ at the Center for SRL.

The event is open to faculty and staff, and takes place on Friday, October 13th, at 11:30 am at the Center for SRL.

A Day Away: Holy Wisdom Monastery — Saturday, October 21

Open to single women ages 18-50, this retreat allows you to take time away from your busy schedule to reflect on nature, pray, and share with the sisters at Holy Wisdom Monastery.

Cost for students registration, lunch and dinner at the monastery will be covered by the Office of Spiritual and Religious Life.

The day begins with registration at 9:30 am and will conclude at 5:00 pm. There is no designated driver for this event but a vehicle can be reserved for use to get back and forth to the monastery for the day. Drivers must be authorized to drive LU vehicles. Some restrictions for drivers 18-20 years old.

Taize Worship – Thursday October 12 at 7:30pm, Center for Spiritual and Religious Life

The Center for SRL will host song and prayer in an ecumenical service that is open to the community. The Candlelit service will feature musicianship from the Lawrence community and has historical roots geared at serving young adults and their unique needs.

The service takes place on Thursday, October 12th at 7:30 pm at the Center for SRL.
