  • Parenting Your Teen: Nutrition 101 – July 8th from 12:00 – 1:00pm
    • Participants will learn the basics of nutritional requirements for growing children, tips for healthy eating, health risks of obesity in children, how to recognize when weight is a problem and how to build children’s self-esteem.
  • Parenting a Child with Special Needs: Be Resilient – July 13th from 12:00 – 1:00pm
    • Parents of children with special needs are constantly presented with the need to restore and inspire their children. Join this month’s talk for a discussion centered on understanding and generating resilience in our families.

    • Optimal wellness is based on a balance between biology, psychology and sociology. This month’s talk looks at 7 little ways caregivers can achieve self-care while caregiving.
