LU Staff, Faculty and Family Halloween Party

Staff Connections & Faculty presents the 1st annual “Staff, Faculty & Family” Halloween party. Join us Wednesday October 30, 2019 from 4:30pm-8:30pm in the VR Lounge for Staff Happy Hour & Halloween Party.

For More Information Please Visit The Staff Connections Site

We will have free food (with vegetarian & gluten free options) raffles every hour, skee ball competitions, pool table competitions, an adult and children’s costume contest, great drinks, good people and fun times. We have reserved the room across from the VR for the kids party & we will have staff members there to keep them entertained with craft projects and games. Parents can pop right over and check on their children as often as they would like. We look forward to seeing everyone there.

We will also have a donation box available, please feel free to bring any food items, warm clothes, jackets or blankets. All donations will be added to the on campus student food pantry.

Please feel free to send your favorite Halloween song to crystal.t.bailey@lawrence .edu to have it added to the playlist for the night.

RLA to CA – Student staff change in Student Life

Over the last year, the Residence Life Advisor position was reconfigured in both hours and compensation so that we can better serve the needs of our students. With an expected 10 hours of work a week and a renewed focus on building personal and interpersonal relationships, the RLA position has now become the CA position, or “Community Advisor”. The first CA cohort has already begun their training over this past spring term, will continue online training through summer, and arrive early in September to round out their in-person training prior to and during Welcome Week 2019. Please update your records, notes, data entry info, and any other references to the RLA or Residence Life Advisor position to CA or Community Advisor. Questions can be referred to Amy Uecke and amy.uecke@lawrence.edu or Rose Wasielewski at rose.wasielewski@lawrence.edu.
