New Field Museum Semester Off-Campus Program Added

Off-Campus Programs is excited to announce the addition of our new Field Museum Semester: Research in Natural History program in Chicago, Illinois. This semester program, sponsored by ACM, is for upper-level students interested in natural history research with a background in evolutionary biology, anthropology, geology, and/or a related discipline. Students doing the program will earn 16 semester credits while participating in an intensive internship at the Field Museum of Chicago and will take courses taught by a Visiting Faculty Director and Field Museum professional staff.

The Fall 2021 Visiting Faculty Director will be Israel Del Toro, Assistant Professor of Biology at Lawrence University!

Students will live in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood in furnished apartments. Transit cards will allow students to commute throughout the city. The internship will provide a small stipend.

The deadline for applying to the Fall 2021 session of this program is January 27, 2021.
