LU Is On The Move Starting April 8
Looking for a way to put more pep in your step? Join the exciting WELCOA On The Move Challenge! On The Move is a 12 week wellness challenge that encourages more physical activity and wellness habits throughout the day. Not only will you be boosting your mood, reducing your stress, and becoming more active, you will also be eligible for great rewards and prizes! The challenge starts on April 8th, but don’t wait to become a part of this great movement! If you sign up between now and March 29th you will be entered for a chance to win a fitness tracker or gift basket from the Healthy Vikings Program.

Community Resource Panel
Community Resource Panel! Help those affected by dating and sexual violence reach local resources on Thursday, Feb. 28 at 5:30 p.m. in the Warch Cinema. Speakers include SANE Program Coordinator at ThedaCare Meghan Van Heertum, Campus/Community Advocate at the Sexual Assault Crisis Center Cathy Kaye, Lieutenant Blaine VanderWielen and Lieutenant Mike Frisch of the Appleton Police Department, Assistant District Attorney of Outagamie County Alex Duros, and Tracy Plamann, Community Education Coordinator at Harbor House.

Alive and Aware
Alive & Aware is a program sponsored by WELLU that is running from January 31st until April 26th. It is designed to educate the campus community about physical, mental, and nutritional Wellness. The education is geared towards teaching members about healthier choices and becoming more aware of how the choices they are making can impact their lives.
Alive & Aware will include campus resources, online activities, and tabling events will be held at various locations. Each activity participated in or attended will lead to the participants receiving a raffle ticket. The more tickets acquired the better chance of winning a prize! At the end of the program tickets will be drawn for the chance of winning 1 of 3 WELLU gift baskets.

WELLU Winter Massage Program
WELLU is pleased to offer subsidized full-body therapeutic massage services beginning January 7th, 2019. Sign up starts now for all students, staff and faculty. Appointments are available for 60 minutes and cost $20 and will be held at the YMCA and on campus. Students, staff and faculty may schedule an appointment by contacting Erin Buenzli at erin.buenzli@lawrence.edu or 920-832-7190. Space is limited so sign up today. Limit one per term.

Free December YMCA memberships available to all employees. Sign up at the YMCA Member Services if you want to join the YMCA from November 24 – December 31. Spouses can also join the YMCA in December for $30. Try out new classes that are free to members, just drop in.
Seasonal Gratitude Exchange
Just a few days left to sign up. Join the many departments that have already said yes.
Simply sign your department or area up by November 30th to be matched with a fellow neighboring (similarly sized) department. Once matched, your department is free to share your appreciation and gratitude at some point between December 10th and December 21st. You will be informed of your match by Wednesday December 5th.
