LU On the Move Weekly Winners

Katie Seidel, Tiera Heller, and Wendell Leafstedt are the winners of a WELLU string bag for participating last week.

Wilson House promotes On the Move by setting aside two 10-15 minute breaks a day to join together to get up and move! We set the times at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm to walk around the block/campus if weather is good, or share a few fun exercises between floors on bad weather days!

Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Cathy Kaye, the Sexual Assault Crisis Center Campus Advocate, will be tabling throughout the month of April for Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM).

The purpose of SAAM is to raise public awareness about sexual violence and educate communities on how to prevent it.  There will be opportunities to learn about advocacy resources and ways to show your support for victim/survivors of sexual violence through decorating jeans, adding “I believe” stickers to a teal ribbon poster, and taking a FREE stress balloon.

Look for Cathy tabling in the Warch Campus Center commons, the library, Science Hall, and the Conservatory.
