Teams is coming!

IT and the office of student activities have “teamed up” to bring all LU clubs and organizations a new tool to manage your activities in a virtual world. In the coming weeks a Microsoft teams account will be created for every student club and organization. With this you will be able run Zoom-like meetings, manage your members, invite non-members and store documents. Leaders and contacts for all organizations will receive an e-mail once their account is set-up. IT is in the process of developing easy to follow instructions so all groups can get the most out of Teams.

Colour my World

“As time goes on . . . ” (takes me back to junior high dances, thank you Peter Cetera).

This weekend, July 10-12, we have some artistic fun @ the Viking Corner for campus residents: Rainbow scratch art (maybe that takes you back to elementary school). Stop by your residence hall’s Viking Corner and grab some rainbow scratch sheets and a stylus and create your own masterpiece!

A lunch option opens July 6th

At the request of the Office of the President, Bon Appetit will make the current student lunch program available to faculty and staff who have returned to campus.

Lunch (to go) is available for purchase Monday thru Friday, 11:30-12:30 in Kate’s Corner Store on the 2nd floor of the Warch Campus Center (items in the corner store are not available for purchase, just lunch). The cost will be $5, payable with Viking Gold or credit card only, no cash. Options are VERY limited. You can view the daily options at www.cafebonappetit.com/lawrence.

Masks and social distancing in the Warch Campus Center is mandatory.

Pot a plant!

This weekend (June 26-28), the office of student activities and virtual programming invites all campus residents to test out their “green thumbs”. Pots that can be decorated, potting soil and flower seeds will be available at the Kohler and Colman residence hall grab & go tables (“Viking Corner”). Stop by Friday thru Sunday, get your supplies and start gardening.
