Faculty/Staff Club & Chili
Join us this Thursday 4:30-6 PM in the Viking Room for Faculty/Staff Club. In addition to great prices and old-fashioned camaraderie, this week we will be featuring our award-winning chili. Warm up with a pumpkin old fashioned or a hot bowl of chili (vegetarian chili also available).
Faculty/Staff Club Thursdays
4:30 – 6 PM in the Viking Room. The week’s food feature is “wings” (chicken and cauliflower). As always, all beverages are $1 off and soda is always free.
Jazz, Funk & Fun
In the Viking Room this Friday at 9 PM. The Dirk Quinn Band is a jazz/funk band that coincidentally bears the front man’s name. Based out of Philadelphia, the group travels extensively throughout the US and Canada. Utilizing over a decade of steady performing, they’ve developed a unique and sincere style – one that appeals to a wide variety of music listeners with fans ranging from the beard stroking jazz aficionados to the jam band hippies.
The band’s infectious energy and musical interplay routinely attract listeners that are admittedly more accustomed to lyric-based music. With great melodic sensibilities, rhythmic experimentation and an accessible modern edge, the Dirk Quinn Band is jazz/funk improvisation at its most engaging!
A special week in the VR
Faculty/Staff Club on Thursdays continues (4:30-6) with Sloppy Joe sliders and $1 off every beverage.
The 5th Quarter on Saturday, October 23rd. Happy hour starts at 3:00 PM, join us after the game for some unique Blue & White and Fall themed specials.
Something new in the VR
Faculty and staff are cordially invited to Faculty/Staff Club on Thursdays from 4:30-6 PM in the Viking Room. Free hors d’oeuvres each week. All drinks and drafts $1 off.
Bloody Marys from SLUG
… at the VR. Join us Wednesday, August 18th from 4-6 p.m. for Happy Hour featuring Bloody Marys made with SLUG tomato juice and select pickled SLUG vegetables. All proceeds go to support the SLUG garden.

One last Griff’s Grill
Wednesday, July 28th 11am – 1 pm
All good things must come to an end and Griff’s Grill is no exception. Join us one last time next Wednesday in front of the Con for our traditional fare of dogs, brats and veggie options. In order to make things simple lunch will be all-you-can-eat for $5 (chips, cookies and beverage included). Payment via cash or Venmo please.

The VR just got healthier
You can now drink your beer and have your vegetables too! SLUG and the VR are teaming up at summer “Happy Hour”, Wednesdays 4-6 PM. SLUG produce will be for sale on the patio and with the VR special summer prices (most beverages $2) you’ll have plenty left over to buy some healthy a delicious vegetables. Need an excuse to go to the VR, how about you are going to the campus produce stand instead!
Summer Happy Hour at the VR
The VR will be open Wednesdays 4-6 PM for Happy Hour. $2 cans bottles and taps. $3 summer specialty drinks and always good company on the patio.
